MERIDIAN
Provider network

Steady work orders for local trades who show up.

Meridian brings the facility-manager relationships and the monthly work. You bring the skill and the pride of doing it right. HVAC, plumbing, electrical, handyman, floor restoration, window work, landscaping, snow. If you run a legitimate shop in DuPage or west Cook County, we'd like to meet you.

On our work orders, you represent Meridian inside the building. We vet carefully because our name is on every visit.

Trades we're looking for

The work we already have and need good shops to run.

Not an exhaustive list. If your trade touches the inside or the grounds of a commercial building and you do it well, write to us anyway.

  • HVAC & Refrigeration

Light commercial service, preventive contracts, emergency calls.

  • Electrical

Lighting retrofits, panel work, break-fix in occupied buildings.

  • Plumbing

Commercial fixtures, drains, backflow, small repipes.

  • Handyman & General Repairs

Door hardware, drywall patches, ceiling tile, the long punch list.

  • High-Reach Window Cleaning

Above 12 ft, lift or rope access, water-fed pole specialists.

  • Floor Restoration

Hardwood refinishing, concrete polishing, tile and grout.

  • Landscaping & Grounds

Commercial mowing, seasonal color, hardscape touch-ups.

  • Snow & Ice Management

Plowing, walks, de-icing, 24/7 response November through March.

  • Pest Control

IPM programs, monthly service, tenant-facing professionalism.

How to join

Three steps. No surprises.

A one-time review window covers identity verification, insurance and credential review, and a reference call. Submitting an application does not guarantee work — we match volume to coverage and reach out when the fit is right.

  1. 01

    Identity and credential review.

The owner or an authorized rep completes an identity verification. We review your W-9, COI, and any state or municipal licenses required for your trade. You hear from us within five business days. Applicants must be 18+, U.S.-based, and operating a registered business entity.

  2. 02

Reference call and sample work order.

A Meridian operations lead calls one or two of your references, confirms the service area you cover, and walks you through a sample work order so the first job isn't the first time you see our paperwork. This is where we decide.

  3. 03

    Network agreement and onboarding.

You sign the agreement — insurance minimums, the standards to the right, payment terms. We onboard you to our dispatch tool, run the first job with extra supervision, and from there you're in the rotation.

What you agree to

Six standards. Non-negotiable.

These exist because the facility managers we work with have been burned before. Every line below is something we've seen go wrong in this industry and decided to hold to a fixed standard.

If we cleaned it, you have a photo of it. If something goes wrong, we own it. If you call, a real person answers.

Our standard for every provider
  • Check in. Check out. On the tool.

Every visit time-stamped through our dispatch app. If you're going to be late, we hear about it from you before the client does.

  • Before and after photos on every job.

Annotated, uploaded before you leave the site. This is the backbone of our brand promise and it is non-negotiable.

  • Complete job notes.

What you found, what you did, what the next visit should watch for. Written like an operator, not a ticket.

  • Dress and behave like Meridian.

Clean branded polo or your own uniform, visible badge, professional language inside the building. Truck signage is yours; what the client sees inside is ours.

  • No subcontracting.

The company we vetted does the work. Sending another shop's crew is cause for immediate removal from the network, forfeiture of any open invoices, and permanent exclusion.

  • Surface issues. Don't cover them.

If something breaks, you broke the tile, the part isn't what was specced — you tell us. We don't hide problems from clients. We fix them.

What you can expect from us

The other side of the deal.

A provider relationship runs in two directions. Here's what we commit to, in writing, to every shop in the network.

Plain-language work orders.
Scope, budget, access instructions, contact name. No "just handle it" SMS at 10pm.
We pay on schedule.
Net-15 or net-30 at onboarding. Weekly payout batch. No phantom deductions, no 90-day games.
A real dispatcher, not a ticket queue.
Questions route to a human inside business hours. Escalations go to a named operations lead.
Consistent volume in your area.
We don't stack a network ten deep in one ZIP and ghost you. If we onboard you, we're committed to feeding you real work.

Apply to the network.

Email us with your company info, trade, service area, and two references. We read every application. If the fit is right for your area, a real person responds inside five business days.
